At ASNS Ingredient, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Our facility is designed around a simple but powerful principle: use 100% of the yellow pea with zero waste. Every fraction of the pea - protein, starch, and fiber - becomes a premium ingredient, and even our process water is converted into biogas for energy recovery.

We utilize 100% of every yellow pea that enters our facility. Protein isolate, starch, fiber, and extrudate - each fraction is extracted and refined into a high-value ingredient. Nothing is discarded. The process water generated during production is directed to biogas generation, turning what would traditionally be wastewater into a renewable energy source. This closed-loop approach means our facility operates with virtually zero waste output.

Our yellow peas are sourced from farmers across the Baltic region, keeping supply chains short and transportation emissions low. By working with regional agriculture, we support local farming communities, ensure full traceability from field to factory, and maintain the freshness of our raw materials. Short supply chains also mean we can respond quickly and build lasting partnerships with our growers.

Our state-of-the-art facility in Jelgava features a fully automated manufacturing process, maximizing precision and efficiency at every stage. Automation reduces energy consumption per unit of output, ensures consistent product quality, and minimizes human error. Combined with biogas energy recovery from process water, our facility sets a new benchmark for resource-efficient plant-based ingredient production.
Our Jelgava facility will employ approximately 100 people, creating skilled jobs and contributing to the regional economy. As we prepare to begin operations in Q1 2027, we are committed to setting new standards for environmentally responsible, zero-waste plant-based ingredient production in the Baltic region and beyond.
